We are lovers not fighters at MAH.com so let's just say this is a brief guide on our favourite kitesurfing beaches from around the world - based primarily on wind records, year round weather and accessability for kitesurfing.
Believe it or not you don't need to go all the way to Oz or California to find great surfing beaches. Some of the best surfing beaches in Europe are right here in the UK. The water might be a little colder and you're more likely to see a granny pushing a pram than a beach babe but the waves and breaks are just as good.

Croyde Bay - North Devon
Croyde has to be one of the finest surfing beaches in the U.K. producing high quality barrels throughout the tide, low tide being the best and the most powerful and dangerous. Surfers in Woolacoombe and Bude might argue otherwise but we reckon Croyde just pips it.

Fistral Beach - Newquay, Cornwall
located in Newquay, Cornwall, this is the most famous surfing beach in the UK and as a result it gets busy in high season. There are breaks all along the beach, depending on the tide and the sand formation. Pick your day and it can really go off in Newquay. |
